Vote for Clean Water on November 6th

Looking past celebrating an incredible Bay Bash and looking forward to tomorrow, November 6:

Go vote, Here’s why –

The team at Mobile Baykeeper is smart enough to never tell you how to vote, but we wouldn’t be doing our job if we didn’t encourage you to think about clean water before you vote.

Ask yourself which candidate:

  1. Cares the most about clean water?

  2. Will make clean water a priority when representing me?

  3. Will work to protect and fund protections of clean water?

Once you know the answers to those questions, make your decision and VOTE.

Find out your polling location information here.

Across Coastal Alabama, we know better than most that clean water, clean air and healthy communities is NOT just for one party, but for all people – young, old, mommies, daddies, grandparents, industrial manufacturers, sewage treatment operators, seafood lovers and seafood catchers (commercial AND recreational fishers), sailors, swimmers, hunters, farmers and on and on.

We would love to hear from you: Why you care about clean water and clean air?

More importantly, tell those who are running for office with your vote.

Once they all get elected, tell them again with a call or letter (or tell the one you didn’t vote for, but who still works for YOU!)

Don’t assume they know, tell them. Vote for clean water and make your voice heard now and during every election. And keep those elected officials accountable by telling them on a regular basis that you prioritize Clean Water and Clean Air as the best way to build a Healthy Community.

We do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate.
