Citizen's Guide To Coastal Restoration

Mobile Baykeeper’s Citizen Guide to Coastal Restoration is designed to teach coastal residents and waterfront property owners about the unique and abundant resources we are blessed with in Coastal Alabama. We will cover threats that impact our environment and public health, ways to protect our natural resources, and ways you can be involved in coastal restoration on your property and in your community.

In addition to talking about the nuts and bolts of restoration, we will also discuss the importance of contacting your elected officials in support of restoration projects you want to see in your community. We will give you the tools you need to comment on NRDA and RESTORE projects (after we explain what those are!) as well as other initiatives and issues.

The Citizen's Guide to Coastal Restoration workshop lasts an hour and provides plenty of time for questions. Mobile Baykeeper staff will present and provide all materials, including a copy of the program manual.  Presentations take place regularly in the Mobile Baykeeper office, or we can come to you.

A program manual will be provided, but it can also be downloaded below.
