6 Ways to Support Mobile Baykeeper on #GivingTuesday
In honor of #GivingTuesday, a national day of giving, we've got six different ways for you to support our work for clean water, clean air, and healthy communities. Attend a fun party, shop local, donate online, or become a member! Because we all like options, right?
20th Anniversary Bay Bash on Friday, December 8. GulfQuest Museum. 6 p.m.
Join us as we celebrate 20 years of protecting the Mobile Bay Watershed and our coastal communities. Enjoy live music by "Gulf Coast Blues Boy" Jamell Richardson, guest speaker Marc Yaggi (Executive Director of Waterkeeper Alliance), delicious food and cocktails, a silent auction, and special fireworks show on the Mobile River. This year, our main "ask" will be for a lab to support our growing water quality monitoring program. Click here to purchase your tickets!
Keep it Local
Do your part to defend our beloved Mobile-Tensaw Delta and purchase a signature "Defend the Delta" T-shirt or hugger from our friends at Mobtown Merch. When you do, a portion of proceeds will be support our work for clean water, clean air, and healthy communities. Click here to get yours today!
In honor of #GivingTuesday, Facebook and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will be matching up to $2 million of funds raised on Facebook for US nonprofits. Facebook is also waiving its fees for donations made to nonprofits today. Help us out by creating your own Facebook Fundraiser for Mobile Baykeeper or by giving directly through the "Donate" button located at the top right corner of our Facebook Page.
