Post-Mardi Gras Cleanup on One Mile Creek

Post-Mardi Gras Cleanup on One Mile Creek.jpg

Join Mobile Baykeeper for the Litter-Free Mardi Gras Post-Mardi  Gras Cleanup on One Mile Creek to see firsthand the amount of Mardi Gras litter that pollutes nearby waterways. The cleanup event will take place on Saturday, March 9th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

We'll be going deep in the trenches of One Mile Creek in canoes and kayaks to remove whatever litter and debris we find. Please dress comfortably in clothes you do not mind getting a little wet or dirty. For those who do not want to get in the water, we will also be picking up litter around the edge of the creek and in the field near the creek. Please bring a canoe or kayak if you have one! We will have a limited supply of boats available.
